Honorary Co-Chairs

Brian Reece II often dreamed of the day that his parents would not be fighting with each other; he surely never imagined that they would ever be united fighting against something together!  In August 2000, at the age of 21, Brian Reece II, was diagnosed with testicular cancer.  His life was changed forever.  His outlook on life would never be the same, and his parents were united in efforts to help him in any way they could.  At the 2004 Relay For Life Brian walked with his mother on one side and his father on the other side of him during the caregivers walk, all of them united in the fight against cancer!  On May 6, 2005, as he welcomed his daughter Dakota Jae into the world, one of his concerns about the side effects of the radiation treatment were taken away.  Brian is Honorary Chair for the 2005 Janesville Outdoor Relay For Life and will be sharing more of his story at the event.

Montez Zinn died Sunday, May 15, 2005. Montez was in 6th grade at Marshall Middle School. He played baseball, football and basketball. He was also one of our Relay for Life Honorary Chairs. Montez has left a Mother, Father, Brother, Sister and grandparents behind, as well as so many others who have been touched by his life and his courage.
